About Regulatory Reports

Regulatory Reports, such as the 61B report to the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) in the case of Indian FIs and reports as per the data structure for other jurisdictions, are generated in XML Schema for Individuals and Entities.

1. CBDT 61B Report

The CBDT 61B Report is required to be submitted in XML Format to the Central Board of Direct Taxes. To validate and ensure that the data generated adheres to the CBDT XML Format, this report is provided to the institution. Here's how it works:

  • Generation Process: Users can generate the 61B Report by selecting the option under the "Reports" Menu. They need to input data elements such as the month, year, and other relevant details to generate the report.

  • Report Segments:

    1. Branch Information: Provides details of the branch, including Branch Number Type, Branch Reference code, Name, and Address.
    2. Account Information: Includes account details such as Branch Reference No, Customer_Id, Account Number, Account status, and balance, among other details.
    3. Individual Information: Incorporates details of Individual Account Holders, including Account_id, Name, TIN, PAN details, and other relevant data.
    4. Entity Information: Provides details of Entity Account Holders, including Account_id, Name, TIN, PAN details, and other relevant data.
    5. Address Information: Contains addresses of individuals, entities, and controlling persons, including details like type of address, street, city, with linkage to Account_id and Customer_Id.
    6. Controlling Person Information: Includes details of controlling persons associated with reportable entities, such as name, controlling person type, account number, and Customer_Id.
